Camaron Phillips joined the SNHU Department of Athletics as its Competitive Sports Coordinator in January 2025. In his role, Phillips oversees SNHU’s intramurals and club sports.
Phillips moved from Arkansas to New Hampshire in the summer of 2024. He lives in Hooksett, NH, with his wife Allyson, a psychology professor at SNHU, and his three children—Jordyn, James, and Calvin.
Phillips graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. Before starting his role at SNHU, he was in public school education for over 11 years, teaching both history and science. He has taught at 4 different schools from middle school to high school.
In addition to teaching, Phillips has significant experience coaching. He has coached wrestling, football, track, cross country, and soccer. Further, he established a club ultimate frisbee program at his high school in Arkansas.
