Dan Geist

Daniel Geist joined Southern New Hampshire University as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in January 2025, bringing extensive experience in developing high-performance training programs for collegiate and elite athletes. He is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of all strength and conditioning programs across SNHU's intercollegiate sports.

Prior to his role at SNHU, Geist served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Manhattan College for over three years, where he managed and developed the training protocols and development for various teams. Before his collegiate work, he spent nearly six years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach on Long Island at Xceleration Sports Training, where he was instrumental in developing and assisting a diverse range of athletes, from middle school athletes to collegiate-bound prospects and some professional athletes.

Geist earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from SUNY Brockport in 2019 and currently holds certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA CSCS), Level 1 Weightlifting Coach from USA Weightlifting, and as a Level 1 Coach from the Kilo Strength Society. He currently resides in Manchester with his wife Jessica.
