Jaycie Christopher joined the Southern New Hampshire University women’s basketball staff as a part-time assistant coach in August 2026 following a decorated collegiate playing career.
Christopher played three seasons at NCAA Division I University of Maine, appearing in 81 games, before completing her collegiate career at the University of Southern Maine. In her lone season with the Huskies, she averaged 18.9 points and 9.0 rebounds per game while shooting 55.2 percent from the field and 45.2 percent from 3-point range.
Following her standout season, Christopher was named a D3hoops.com Second Team All-American, D3hoops.com Region 2 Player of the Year, New England Women’s Basketball Association Player of the Year and Little East Conference Player of the Year. She also earned First Team All-Region, First Team All-LEC, LEC All-Defensive Team and College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American.
A native of Skowhegan, Maine, Christopher was the 2022 Miss Maine Basketball and Maine Gatorade Player of the Year. She finished her career at Skowhegan Area High School as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,561 points and was also a standout in softball and golf.
Christopher is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Sports Management at SNHU.
