Kathy Frankowski enters her first season as an assistant coachof the SNHU volleyball program.
Frankowski spent one year as an assistant coach at PlymouthState University under head coach Moira Long before coming toSNHU. During her year coaching at Plymouth, the team postedan overall record of 19-14, finished third in the Little EastConference regular season, and appeared in both the Little East andECAC finals.
Prior to coaching at Plymouth, Frankowski was a four-year memberof the Plymouth State program, seeing action at outside hitter andin the defensive specialist position. Frankowski was a keymember of the 2008 ECAC Championship Team and helped the Panthersto a program-best 32-6 record in 2009. In the 2009 season,Frankowski was ranked 31st in service aces in Division III. She led the team in service aces in each of her four years with theprogram and appeared in 131 out of a possible 139 matches over thecourse of her career.
Frankowski is a 2006 graduate of Farmington High School and anative of Farmington, Conn. She was a four-year varsityathlete in volleyball, basketball and softball during her highschool career.
Frankowski currently resides in Manchester, N.H. and is pursuinga Master's Degree in Athletic Administration at SNHU. Inaddition to her duties with the Penmen, Frankowski willcoach basketball and softball at local high schools.
