A two-sport athlete for four yearsat Southern New Hampshire University, Laurie Boland enters herthird season as an assistant coach with the women's soccerprogram.

Boland, a 2008 graduate of SNHUwith a degree in marketing, played soccer an softball for fourseasons for the Penmen. In soccer, she was a two-time Northeast-10All-Conference selection and wrapped up her career with 18 goalsand 17 assists for 53 points, including a team-high 18 points (6gls, 6 asts) as a senior. On the softball diamond, she was afour-year starting infielder who helped the Penmen make theirfirst-ever NCAA tourney appearance in 2006.

Boland was SNHU's Scholar-Athleteof the Year in 2005-06 and was named to five NE-10 All-AcademicTeams over her career, three in soccer and two in softball. Anative of Worcester, MA, Boland is a graduate of WorcesterAcademy.
