Lexi Knapton joined SNHU’s Women’s Lacrosse coaching staff in 2024 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2023.
A born and raised New Englander, who started her lacrosse career on Varsity at John Stark Regional High School while playing club at Granite State Elite for 6 years. She then played for Coastal Carolina’s club team before transferring to UNH and then joining their club team. Her junior year she was Second Team All-American for midfield and First Team All-American for midfield as Captain her senior year, as well as being titled The National Champions in 2023. She still continues her passion for playing for a team that plays overseas in Europe each summer, called Tidal Lacrosse, which helps promote lacrosse worldwide.
In addition to her playing experience, she started her coaching journey in 2021 when she was the Assistant for Dover High School and continued that while in college. As well as coaching her own travel team for Houlagans Club and now coaching at 4 Leaf Lacrosse. Lexi is looking forward to her first collegiate coaching year and is excited to be a part of the SHNU family.
