Matt Lyle

Matthew Lyle joined Southern New Hampshire University as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in February 2026.

Prior to SNHU, Lyle served for more than two years as an Intern Strength and Conditioning Coach at Plymouth State University, including one year overseeing the Track and Field and Cross Country programs. In that role, he was responsible for strength and conditioning program development for athletes at all levels of competition, including NCAA national qualifiers. He also served as Assistant Track and Field Coach from 2024–2025.

A four-year member of Plymouth State’s men’s track and field and cross country teams, Lyle competed in the 800 meters, 1500 meters, and mile. He was part of the 2022 Little East Conference Championship cross country team.

Lyle earned both his bachelor’s (2022) and master’s (2025) degrees in Exercise and Sport Physiology from Plymouth State University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

He currently resides in Loudon, New Hampshire.
