Mike Trudeau joined the SNHU men's soccer staff as the goalkeepers coach in August 2026.

Following his playing career as a goalkeeper at Franklin Pierce University, Trudeau went on to coach at all levels of the game. He began coaching at his alma mater, Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, R.I. Trudeau made the jump to coaching at the college level as the men’s assistant coach/goalkeeper coach at Bryant University. He has also been the head men’s coach at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., and the women’s associate head coach at Community College of Rhode Island.  

Trudeau has coached at several youth clubs throughout New England, working with players across all age groups, from developmental through high school. His club coaching career culminated with his role on the coaching staff of the 2019 US Club Soccer 2004 Girls National Championship team. Most recently, Trudeau was the director of coaching for Dubuque Soccer Club in Dubuque, Iowa.  

The highlight of his coaching career was his more than 25 years as a Special Olympics coach. He also served as a coach and unified partner for Rhode Island’s 11-a-side unified soccer team, which competed at the Special Olympics World Games in Raleigh, N.C.
