Will Schoolcraft

Will Schoolcraft was named Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Southern New Hampshire University in August of 2025.

Prior to SNHU, Schoolcraft served a one-year stint at NCAA Division I University of Maine Orono. While working with the Black Bears, Schoolcraft was charged with overseeing the women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s cross country, and track & field teams. He also assisted with the Black Bears football team by carrying out the strength and conditioning protocols set by the Head Football Sports Performance Coach. Schoolcraft created and implemented off-ice strength and conditioning and rehabilitation programs for the women’s ice hockey team in addition to tracking and analyzing athlete physical assessments throughout the season.

Previously, Schoolcraft worked for two seasons as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Fitness Center Manager at Saint Anselm College. In the role, Schoolcraft designed, implemented, and coached training programs for women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's basketball, men's ice hockey, baseball, women's lacrosse, and the Division I women's ice hockey team.

Prior to his time at Saint Anselm, Schoolcraft spent the 2021-22 season as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Boston College. With the Eagles, he assisted in implementing programmed lifts of all 23 Division I teams while coaching and executing resistance training programs for men's cross country and women's rowing.

Schoolcraft also served internship stints at Appalachian State University and Fitchburg State University.

Schoolcraft earned his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in strength and conditioning from Fitchburg State in Dec. 2020 before obtaining a Master's Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in strength and conditioning from Merrimack College in May of 2022. Schoolcraft is currently certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
