Adriana Timberlake (Braintree, Mass.) averaged 20.5 points on 51.6 percent (16-31) shooting from the field, including 46.7 percent (7-15) from long distance, and 100 percent (2-2) from the stripe, to go with 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest, as women's basketball opened the season 2-0. Timberlake poured in a career-high 26 (10-17 FG, 4-8 -FG, 2-2 FT) and stuffed the stat sheet with six assists, five rebounds and four steals in an 88-65 win against the University of Bridgeport in Saturday's opener. She led the way again in a 74-45 thumping of the University of the District of Columbia on Sunday with 15 points (6-14 FG, 3-7 3-FG), three boards and three assists.
