Kurtis Henderson (Brockton, Mass.) averaged 17.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists, while knocking down 42.3 percent (11-26) of his shots from the field, including 57.1 percent (4-7) from long distance, and 80 percent (8-10) from the stripe, in a 2-0 week for men's basketball. Henderson poured in a career-high 28 points (9-22 FG, 4-6 3-FG, 6-7 FT), including the 1,000th of his career, grabbed three rebounds and dished three assists in an 83-82, double-overtime triumph over Assumption University on Tuesday. He followed that up with six points (2-4 FG, 2-3 FT) and three assists in only 22 minutes of a 71-67 win at American International College on Saturday.
