Jojo Wallace (Milford, Conn.) averaged 37.5 points per game on 48.4 percent (30-62) shooting, including 40 percent (8-20) from beyond the arc, during a 2-0 week for men's basketball. He added 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per contest. Wallace scored a game-high 27 points (11-25 FG, 2-7 3-FG, 3-5 FT), to go with six rebounds and three assists, as the Penmen rallied from 10 down in the final five minutes to stun Bentley University, 67-64, and cement the final NE10 Championship spot. Wallace was not done against the Falcons, however, leading the Penmen to a 96-93, double-overtime first round victory with a school- and NE10 Championship-record 48 points (19-37 FG, 6-13 3-FG, 4-7 FT). He also collected a career-best nine rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals. The 48 points broke a 52-year-old school record and a 34-year-old NE10 postseason mark, while his 37 field goal attempts also broke a program record.
