Natalie Kallmunzerova (Prague, Czech Republic) turned in a 9-1 record during the three-day ITA East Regional Championships. Kallmunzerova was a perfect 6-0 in singles play as she rolled to the title, including wins over the Nos. 3 and 11 seeds. She also went 3-1 in doubles with partner Magdalena Hubickova (Prague, Czech Republic), but fell in the semifinals. Kallmunzerova also helped the Penmen to a 5-2 victory at New Haven earlier in the week on Tuesday, as she breezed to a 6-2, 6-1 win against Ivana Andric at No. 1 singles.
