Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) averaged 69.3 over three rounds last week, which including 36 holes to earn individual medalist honors at the Granite State Opener at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, N.H., on Monday. Conti, who fired a 6-under 66 in the second round, won by one shot with a 6-under 138. Conti then carded an even-par 70 Sunday and is tied for fifth heading into the final round of the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational on Monday at Northern Spy Golf Club in Townsend, Mass.
