Matt Becht (Vienna, Va.) averaged 21.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game, while shooting 55 percent (11-20) from the field, including 72.7 percent (8-11) from long distance, and 92.9 percent (13-14) from the stripe, during a 1-1 week for the Penmen. Becht went off for 27 points (9-12 FG, 6-7 3-FG, 3-3 FT), to go with three rebounds and an assist in Wednesday's 70-65 victory against Adelphi, before adding 16 points (2-8 FG, 2-4 3-FG, 10-11 FT), three boards, three assists and two steals in a 67-56 defeat at Pace on Saturday. Becht was selected as the NE10 Player of the Week earlier Monday.
