MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Southern New
Hampshire women's volleyball team fell to Merrimack College and
Adelphi University by 3-0 scores in a tri-match on Saturday
afternoon. The Penmen, who are now 7-10 overall, fell to the
Warriors 30-21, 30-20, 30-24 and to the Panthers 30-24, 32-30,
30-25. Merrimack, which fell to Adelphi in the middle match
of the tri-match, is now 10-10, while the Panthers are 17-5 on the
season. The Merrimack/SNHU match was a non-conference match.
Against Merrimack, Casey
Stoodley (Salem, NH) and Brianna Doucet
(Danville, NH) each finished with eight kills, while
Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) added
six. Doucet also finished with 11 digs, with Stoodley and
Kristin Wilson (Milton, NH) recording nine digs
apiece. Kelly Scanlon (East Providence, RI)
handed out 13 assists.
Dluginski led SNHU with 11 kills
against Adelphi, while Doucet finished with 10 kills.
Casey Stoodley (Salem, NH) led the Penmen with 15
defensive digs, while Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT)
added nine. Scanlon handed out 17 assists, while Dluginski
also finished with three blocks (two solo, one assisted).
Southern New Hampshire returns to
Northeast-10 play Wednesday evening when it travels to American
International College for a 7:00 match.
