MANCHESTER, N.H. - Danielle Furka
(Massapequa, NY) finished with 11 kills and 13 digs to lead Pace
University to a 3-0 Northeast-10 volleyball victory over Southern
New Hampshire University Friday evening at the SNHU
Fieldhouse. The Setters improved to 8-11 and 5-3 in league
play, while the Penmen are now 8-11 and 3-6 in NE-10 action.
Sianna Johnson
(Long Beach, CA) and Korena Johnson (Friendswood,
TX) each had eight kills for Pace, which won by scores of 30-23,
30-19, 30-18. Stephanie Kazmierczak
(Buffalo, NY) had a match-high 15 digs for the Setters, while
Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA) handed out 28
assists.
Casey Stoodley
(Salem, NH) led the Penmen with six kills, while Allison
Murphy (Montague, MA) added five kills.
Kelly Scanlon (East Providence, RI) had 12 digs
and 10 assists while Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT)
added nine digs and three kills.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Saturday when it hosts Southern Connecticut State University
in a 1:00 match at the SNHU Fieldhouse.
