MANCHESTER, N.H. - Brianna Doucet
(Danville, NH) registered a match-high 17 kills as Southern New
Hampshire University recorded a 3-0 Northeast-10 volleyball victory
over Southern Connecticut State University at the SNHU Fieldhouse
Saturday afternoon. The Penmen, who won by scores of 30-22,
30-25, 30-28, improved to 9-11 overall and 4-6 in the NE-10, while
the Owls are now 10-20 and 2-8 in the league.
Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) recorded 15 kills for SNHU
while adding a pair of blocks. Casey
Stoodley (Salem, NH) notched 10 kills and a .714 hitting
percentage while also recording 10 digs and four service
aces. Kelly Scanlon (East Providence, RI)
handed out 27 assists while Kim Rowe (Exeter, NH)
added 10 helpers.
For SCSU, Nekane
Mendizabal (Stratford, CT) finished with 11 kills and
three block assists, while Ashley Coombs
(Trumbull, CT) registered 11 assists.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action on Tuesday night when it hosts Saint Michael's College in a
7:00 match at the SNHU Fieldhouse.
