MANCHESTER, N.H. - Stephanie Dluginski
(Floral Park, NY) registered 16 kills and three blocks to lead
Southern New Hampshire University to a 3-1 women's volleyball
victory over Saint Anselm College at the SNHU Fieldhouse Tuesday
night. The Penmen are now 7-8 overall, while the Hawks fall
to 2-15 on the season. The match was a non-conference match
for both schools.
The game scores were 33-35, 30-16,
30-24, 30-15.
Dluginski also contributed three
service aces. Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT)
finished with 15 kills and a .440 hitting percentage, while
Brooke Lefort (Cumberland, RI) added 11
kills. Brianna Doucet (Danville, NH) led the
Penmen with 15 digs while Casey Stoodley (Salem,
NH) added 13. Kelly Scanlon (East
Providence, RI) handed out 32 assists while Kim
Rowe (Exeter, NH) added 16.
For the Hawks, Alana
McNeil (Lawrence, MA) led the way with 13 kills.
Kelly O'Dea (Andover, MA) handed out 24 assists
while Samantha Regan (Danville, NH) had 11
digs. O'Dea also contributed eight digs.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Saturday when it hosts Merrimack College and Adelphi
University. The Penmen will face Merrimack at 11:00 am and
Adelphi at 1:00 pm before the Warriors and Panthers face each other
at 3:00. Saint Anselm returns to action next Tuesday when it
travels to UMass Lowell for a 7:00 match.
