WATERBURY, Conn. - Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY)
recorded a team-high nine kills as the Southern New Hampshire
volleyball team opened the 2007 season with a 3-0 sweep of Post
University Wednesday night at the Drubner Center. The match,
which was won by scores of 30-13, 30-19, 30-22, was the season
opener for both schools.
Dluginski, a freshman, recorded a
.500 hitting percentage for the match. Classmate
Casey Stoodley (Salem, NH) registered eight kills,
seven digs and a .333 hitting percentage, while Kristin
Wilson (Milton, NH) recorded 13 digs and eight service
aces. Junior Brianna Doucet (Danville, NH)
totaled 12 digs, five kills and three aces, while Nicky
Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) notched 13 assists.
Rachel McCorkle (Merrimack, NH) had a total of six
blocks, three solo and three assisted.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action on Tuesday, September 4, when it hosts Keene State College
in a 7:00 match at the SNHU Fieldhouse.
