LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Southern New Hampshire women's soccer
team used a pair of second half goals to post a 2-0 win over
Georgian Court University Sunday afternoon. The Penmen
improved to 4-4-1 overall, while the Lions are now 4-5 on the
season.
After a scoreless first half, SNHU
got on the board in the opening moments of the second stanza when
Sophia Saint Paul (Brockton, MA) tallied her first
goal of the season. With just under 20 minutes remaining, the
Penmen added an insurance goal when Ali Trafton
(Manchester, ME) scored her first collegiate goal, an unassisted
tally.
Stef Young
(Natick, MA) posted her fourth shutout of the season.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action on Wednesday night when it travels to fourth-ranked Bryant
University for a 3:00 match.
