PAXTON, Mass. – Seniors Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.), Imogen Noon (Gold Coast, Australia) and Georgia Greene (Clifton, N.Y.), and graduate student Lea Baum (Londonderry, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team were recently picked as New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl selections.
The NEWISA Senior Bowl brings together players from NCAA Division I, II and III colleges in New England for one final game following the conclusion of their last collegiate season. This year the NEWISA Senior Bowl will be held Sunday, Dec. 7 (11 a.m.) at Suffolk University's James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.
The 2025 NCAA Division II NEWISA Senior Bowl Selections feature 22 players from colleges and universities across New England. The four honorees for the Penmen were the second most from a single team.
Keith started 14 matches in goal for the Penmen, going 5-6-3 with four shutouts, as she stopped 72 of 92 shots over 1260:00 for a 1.43 goals-against average (GAA) and .783 save percentage. She ranked third in the NE10 in saves per game, fourth in saves and shutouts, fifth in save percentage and seventh in GAA.
Noon started all 13 matches she played in, registering seven points on three goals and an assist to rank fourth on the team in scoring. She landed a spot on the NE10 All-Conference Second Team last month.
Greene, who claimed a spot on the NE10 All-Conference Third Team last month and was recently recognized as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection, tied for second on the team with nine points on three goals and three assists. She was one of four Penmen to start all 16 matches.
Baum also started all 16 matches, anchoring a back line that helped secure four shutouts and post a 1.63 GAA.
The Penmen finished 5-8-3, including 3-3-3 in league play as they claimed the No. 5 seed in the NE10 Championship. SNHU fell at fourth-seeded Adelphi University in the quarterfinal round to see its season draw to a close.
