MANCHESTER, N.H. - Alex Kearney (La
Jolla, CA) totaled nine kills, four digs and two blocks to lead
Bentley College to a 3-0 Northeast-10 volleyball victory over
Southern New Hampshire University at the SNHU Fieldhouse Thursday
evening. The Falcons won their fourth in a row to improve to
12-4 overall and 5-0 in league play, while the Penmen are now 5-7
and 1-4 in NE-10 play.
Bentley, which won by scores of
30-23, 20-24, 30-27, also got seven kills apiece from Carey
Demos (Bakersfield, CA), Christina
Sadowski (Salem, NH) and Morgan
O'Laughlin (Hollister, CA). Cassie
Kraft (New Braunfels, TX) had a team-high nine digs while
Tori Piskulick (San Diego, CA) handed out 28
assists.
Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) led Southern New Hampshire
with 11 kills. Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT)
had eight kills while Rachel McCorkle (Merrimack,
NH) tallied seven. Brianna Doucet (Danville,
NH) notched 12 digs while Kelly Scanlon (East
Providence, RI) registered 21 assists.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Saturday when it travels to Saint Anselm College for an
11:00 match.
