MANCHESTER, N.H. - Fourth-ranked Southern New Hampshire
University and Saint Anselm College played to a 0-0 double-overtime
tie in Northeast-10 men's soccer Wednesday afternoon at Saint
Anselm's Melucci Field. The Penmen extended their unbeaten
streak to 14 games (11-0-3) as it now stands at 13-1-3 overall and
9-0-3 in the NE-10, while the Hawks are now 6-8-2 and 4-5-2 in the
league.
SNHU keeper Sean
Lambert (Rehoboth, MA) earned his eighth shutout of the
season by making seven saves. It also marked the
12th shutout of the season for the Penmen as a
team. Saint Anselm keeper John Corridan made five
saves. Southern New Hampshire held a slight 15-14 edge in
shots for the game.
SNHU closes out the regular season
a week from Wednesday when it travels to UMass Lowell for a 7:00
contest.
