MANCHESTER, N.H. - Behind 14 kills from Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, NY), Southern New Hampshire
University posted a 3-0 Northeast-10 volleyball victory over Saint
Anselm College in Northeast-10 volleyball Wednesday night at the
SNHU Fieldhouse. The Penmen snapped a three-game slide with
the win and improved to 7-11 and 4-6 in the NE-10, while the Hawks
are now 2-16 and 0-12 in the league.
The set scores were 26-24, 25-15,
25-14.
Dluginski hit at a .667 clip,
converting 14 of her 18 attempts for kills while committing just
two attack errors. She also recorded a pair of blocks.
Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT) finished with nine
kills and six digs, while Danielle Coffey
(Westboro, MA) totaled seven kills and seven blocks, including six
solo blocks. Amanda Dzioba (Salem, NH) had a
team-high eight digs while Nicky Dumond
(Tewksbury, MA) handed out 19 assists.
Saint Anselm was led by Charlotte
Tencza who totaled 11 kills. Rachel Flaherty registered 16
assists for the Hawks.
SNHU returns to action Saturday
when it travels to Saint Michael's College for a 1:00 contest.
