Visiting Le Moyne College posted a 3-0 Northeast-10 volleyball
victory over Southern New Hampshire University at the SNHU
Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins, who have won
five in a row, improve to 10-6 and 3-2 in the NE-10, while the
Penmen are now 5-7 and 2-2 in the league.
The set scores were 25-22, 25-20,
25-21.
Elizabeth Cheek led Le Moyne with a
game-high 15 kills while Caitlin Richardson totaled nine kills and
five blocks (two solo). Krista Prentice led the Dolphins
defensively with eight digs, while Kaylin Brainerd handed out 30
assists.
For the Penmen, Brianna
Doucet (Danville, NH) and Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) each totaled 10 kills while
Allison Murphy (Montague, MA) added nine
kills. Ashley Dingle (Malone, NY) notched 10
digs while Doucet also had nine digs. Nicky
Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) finished with 14 assists while
Danielle Coffey (Westboro, MA) had four solo
blocks and five total blocks.
SNHU returns to action Tuesday
night when it travels to Franklin Pierce for a 7:00 game.
