COLCHESTER, Vt. - Brianna Doucet (Danville, NH) totaled 20
kills and 18 digs to lead Southern New Hampshire University to a
3-1 Northeast-10 volleyball victory over Saint Michael's College at
the Ross Sports Center Saturday afternoon. The Penmen won
their second in a row to improve to 8-11 and 5-6 in NE-10 play,
while the Purple Knights are now 11-12 and 2-9 in the league.
The set scores were 25-22, 20-25,
25-18, 31-29.
Doucet hit at a .342 clip for the
afternoon, committing just seven attack errors in 38 total
attempts. Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park,
NY) had 12 kills and three block assists, while
Danielle Coffey (Westboro, MA) added nine kills
and nine blocks (four solo). Jamie Rood
(Southbury, CT) had nine kills and 10 digs, while Ashley
Dingle (Malone, NY) totaled 16 digs. Nicky
Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) led the Penmen with 20 assists.
Lindsey Frazier led Saint Michael's
with 20 kills.
SNHU returns to action on Tuesday
when it travels to Bentley University for a 7:30 match.
