Volleyball Pushes Past Pace 3-1

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Brianna Doucet (Danville, NH) totaled 18 digs to lead Southern New Hampshire University to a 3-1 Northeast-10 volleyball victory over Pace University Friday evening.  The Penmen are now 9-12 and 6-7 in the league, while the Setters are 12-15 and 4-9 in NE-10 play.

The set scores were 29-27, 21-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Doucet also finished with 12 digs for SNHU, which also got nine kills and four blocks (one solo) from Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY).  Danielle Coffey (Westboro, MA) had seven kills and three blocks (two solo).  Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT) finished with 17 digs while Megan Abad (Merrimack, NH) also contributed 12 digs.  Nicky Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) led the Penmen with 22 assists.

SNHU returns to action Saturday when it visits Southern Connecticut State University for a tri-match with Bridgeport.
