NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern New Hampshire University
volleyball team dropped both ends of a tri-match at Southern
Connecticut State University to close out the 2008 season
Saturday. The Penmen fell to the host Owls 3-2 (25-13, 15-25,
16-25, 25-19, 13-15) and also dropped a 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-18)
decision to Bridgeport. SNHU closes out its season with a
record of 9-14 and 6-8 in the league.
Brianna Doucet
(Danville, NH) totaled 16 kills and 21 digs against Southern
Connecticut, while Stephanie Dluginski (Floral
Park, NY) finished with 12 kills. Danielle
Coffey (Westboro, MA) had nine kills and three blocks (one
solo) while Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT) finished
with eight kills, six blocks (four solo) and 13 digs.
Megan Abad (Merrimack, NH) registered 21 digs
while Kim Rowe (Exeter, NH) handed out 13 assists.
Against the Purple Knights,
Dluginski finished with eight kills while Doucet had six
kills. Amanda Dzioba (Salem, NH) totaled 11
digs.
