SNHU trailed most of the second
half and was down 54-46 with just over 11 minutes to play when it

8:02 mark. The Penmen would tie the game 56-56 with just over

the free throw line on Pace's next possession. Bowen would
extend the lead to four, 61-57, with 3:22 to go on his third three

would trade empty trips but Williams would drain a three from the
left corner with 24 seconds left to tie the game at 61-61.
SNHU would call timeout with 17 seconds to play. On the final
play, Miller delivered a baseline pass from the right corner to
Bowen in the post, who would lay it in over a Setter defender with
two seconds left. A final desperation heave by Pace was
blocked.
Pace led 37-29 at halftime and led
by as many as nine early in the second half before a 7-0 run capped
by a Bowen three with 13:49 to go got the Penmen within one,
42-41. The guests would score the next five points to take a

a 37-29 lead at intermission.
