New Haven Downs Volleyball 3-0

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Visiting University of New Haven downed Southern New Hampshire University 3-0 in Northeast-10 volleyball Wednesday night at the SNHU Fieldhouse.  The Chargers improved to 6-3 and 1-0 in the NE-10 with the victory, while the Penmen are now 1-4 and 1-1 in the league.

The set scores were 25-23, 25-16, 25-22.

Rhe-Ann Niles and Sara Malmov paced New Haven with 10 kills apiece.  Katrina Ali had 17 digs for the Chargers, while Yael Rosner handed out 30 assists.

Brianna Doucet (Danville, NH) had a team-high eight kills and 10 digs for Southern New Hampshire, while Allison Murphy (Montague, MA) and Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) each totaled six kills.  Ashley Dingle (Malone, NY) registered 12 digs for the Penmen, while Danielle Coffey (Westborough, MA) totaled five blocks (three solo, two assists).

SNHU returns to action Saturday when it hosts Merrimack College in a non-league game starting at 1:00 pm.
