Volleyball Stung by AIC

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Visiting American International College posted a 3-0 Northeast-10 volleyball victory over Southern New Hampshire University Tuesday night at the SNHU Fieldhouse.  The Yellow Jackets, who won by scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-19, improved to 12-7 overall and 5-5 in the Northeast-10, while the Penmen are now 7-8 and 1-6 in the league.

Talia de Souza paced AIC with 14 kills while hitting at a .407 clip, while Ellisha Terry added 12 kills.  Kervelle Redhead handed out 34 assists, while Kambryn Williams led the Yellow Jackets defensively with 10 digs.

Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.) led the Penmen with 14 kills, while Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) added eight kills while handing out 15 assists.  Danielle Coffey (Westborough, Mass.) notched six kills and three blocks, while Caitlin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) led SNHU defensively with 15 kills.  Kristin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) added 14 assists for Southern New Hampshire.

Southern New Hampshire returns to action Saturday when it travels to Assumption College for a 6:00 match.
