– The Southern New Hampshire volleyball team snapped
an eight-game winless streak Saturday evening as they defeated
Assumption College 3-0. With the win, the Penmen even
their record at 8-8 overall and 2-6 in the Northeast-10 Conference,
while the loss drops the Greyhounds to 1-15 overall and 0-8 in
the NE-10.
Southern New Hampshire was led by junior
Stephanie
Dluglinski (Floral Park, N.Y.) who recorded 15 kills with
an overall hitting percentage of .414, while also adding six
blocks.
Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) dished out 31
assists for the Penmen, who also saw 20 digs from freshman
Caitlin Wilson (Nute, N.H.).
Assumption, which was defeated by scores of
25-22, 25-12, 25-20, was led by Aimee Drainville with eight
kills.
The Penmen return to action on Wednesday when
they host conference rival Saint Michael's College at 7:00
p.m. in the SNHU Fieldhouse.
