Host Bentley University posted a 3-0 Northeast-10 volleyball
victory over Southern New Hampshire University at the Dana Center
Wednesday night. The Falcons improved to 11-6 overall and 6-2
in the NE-10, while the Penmen are now 7-5 and 1-5 in the league.
The set scores were 25-19, 25-22,
26-24.
Kristine Mickelson and Andrea Farah
led Bentley with 10 kills apiece, while Mickelson also added three
blocks (two solo). Kelly Mee totaled 33 assists, while Cassie
Kraft totaled 13 digs and Alex Kearney 12 for the Falcons.
Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.) led Southern New Hampshire
with 12 kills and five blocks (one solo) while hitting .450 on the
evening. Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) and
Kristin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) combined for 22
assists, while Caitlin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) led
the Penmen defensively with 10 digs.
Southern New Hampshire will play
two games in Florida on Saturday, facing Florida Tech at noon and
Rollins at 7:30.
