RINDGE, N.H. - Host Franklin Pierce University got
17 kills from Dana Rowinski to post a 3-1 Northeast-10 volleyball
victory over Southern New Hampshire University at the FPU
Fieldhouse Tuesday night. The Ravens improved to 4-11 and 1-2
in the NE-10 with the win, while the Penmen are now 7-2 and 1-2 in
the league.
The set scores were 25-23, 18-25,
25-22, 25-17.
Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.) finished with 14 kills and a
pair of block assists to lead Southern New Hampshire, while
Danielle Coffey (Westborough, Mass.) totaled 13
kills on .600 hitting to go along with five blocks (one
solo). Allison Murphy (Montague, Mass.)
added eight kills. Caitlin Wilson (Milton,
N.H.) led the Penmen defensively with 19 digs, while Lauren
Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) handed out 39 assists.
Rowinski topped a balanced Raven
attack as five other players finished with between six and eight
kills. Pamela Walker handed out 37 assists for Franklin
Pierce, while Katie Ristow had a team-high 15 digs.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Friday night when it hosts Southern Connecticut State
University in a 7:00 match at the SNHU Fieldhouse.
