ALBANY, N.Y.—Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.) totaled 15 kills and eight digs to lead the Southern New Hampshire University volleyball team to a 3-1 Northeast-10 Conference win against the Golden Knights of the College of Saint Rose on Friday evening. With the win, the Penmen improve to 10-10 overall and 6-5 in NE-10 play, while the loss drops Golden Knights to 6-18 overall and 3-9 in NE-10 play.
Game scores were 25-20, 24-26, 25-19, and 25-21.
Megan Lesczynski (Pine Bush, N.Y.) added 13 kills and three service aces for the Penmen offensively. Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) dished out 35 assists, eight digs and six kills. Peyton Williams (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and Lorenz both added four service aces.
Kayleigh Quinn and Kelly Ryan both tallied seven kills for Saint Rose. Chelsea Tyler dished out 25 assists for the Golden Knights, while Sarah Kahrs and Laura Falkowitz each posted eight digs.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action tomorrow, traveling to Le Moyne for a 12:00 p.m. NE-10 Conference matchup.
