SYRACUSE, N.Y.—The Southern New Hampshire University volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Le Moyne College in Northeast-10 Conference action at the Niland Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Penmen fall to 10-11 overall and 6-6 in NE-10 play, while the win improves the Dolphins to 13-10 overall and 6-6 in the NE-10.
Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.) totaled 10 kills for the Penmen, who fell by scores of 25-22, 29-27, 12-25, and 25-16. Megan Lesczynski (Pine Bush, N.Y.) added nine kills to the Penmen offense, while Peyton Williams (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and Danielle Coffey (Westborough, Mass.) each finished with seven kills. Defensively, Ashlee Daoust (Brookline, N.H.) posed a team-high seven digs. Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) dished out 32 assists on the afternoon for Southern New Hampshire.
Allison Hebel and Bethany Fabian led Le Moyne with 12 and ten kills, respectively. Andrea Sterling posted a match-high 15 digs defensively for the Dolphins, while Katie Plukas dished out 28 assists. Kelli Willets posted four blocks for Le Moyne en route to the win.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action on Tuesday, November 2 as they travel to Stonehill for a 7:00 p.m. Northeast-10 Conference matchup.
