MANCHESTER, N.H. – No. 13 Southern New Hampshire University got a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 Northeast-10 men's soccer victory over Assumption College at Larkin Field Saturday night.  The Penmen won their sixth in a row to up their record to 10-1 and 6-1 in the NE-10, while the Greyhounds now stand 3-5-1 and 2-4-1 in the league.

The Penmen staked themselves to a 1-0 lead at the 18:26 mark.  On a restart, Keegan Campbell (Norton, Mass.) sent in a long free kick that Chris Tsonis (Dartmouth, Mass.) redirected with a header to record his league-high ninth goal of the season.  SNHU would take a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Southern New Hampshire recorded an insurance goal with 2:22 remaining.  On a scramble in front of the Assumption goal, Jordan Branco (Norton, Mass.) sent a shot in that was knocked aside by Greyhound goalkeeper Dana King.  Yannick Kabala (Manchester, N.H.) collected the carom and knocked it in for his second goal of the season.

Dom DiMaggio (Rome, N.Y.) turned aside four shots en route to his second straight shutout and fifth clean sheet of the season, while King registered 12 saves as the Penmen outshot the Greyhounds 26-9 and generated a 6-1 corner kick advantage.

The Penmen return to action Tuesday afternoon when they travel to Bentley University for a 3:30 Northeast-10 contest.
