Box Score MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire volleyball team was defeated by a score of 3-0 in conference action Saturday afternoon by Adelphi University. The Penmen are now 10-14 overall and 2-10 in league play, while Adelphi is 19-10 and 10-2 in the conference.
The Panthers beat the Penmen by set scores of 25-23, 25-16, and 25-16.
Emma Houlihan (Shoreham, N.Y.) totaled 10 kills, while Erica Solomon (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) added nine kills. Ashlee Daoust (Brookline, N.H.) notched eight digs on the day along with six kills. Kendra Mikuta (Orland Park, Ill.) dished out 27 assists for the Penmen.
The Panther defense was led by Emily Dorko who totaled six blocks along with Samantha Rico's five blocks. Chelsea Overholt contributed 10 kills for Adelphi, and Alayna Jackson posted 20 assists.
The Penmen return to action Tuesday, November 6 for a 7:00 p.m. conference matchup against Bentley University for the last regular season home game.
