No. 6 Franklin Pierce Edges No. 3 Men's Soccer 1-0

RINDGE, N.H. – Sixth-ranked Franklin Pierce University scored with just over 15 minutes remaining to post a 1-0 Northeast-10 men's soccer victory over third-ranked Southern New Hampshire University at Sodexo Field Saturday night.  The Ravens improve to 3-1 and 1-1 in the NE-10 with the victory, while the Penmen now stand 4-1 and 1-1 in the league.

Franklin Pierce scored with just over 15 minutes remaining.  Following a foul and a restart on the right side of the box, Lukas Cramer lifted a ball to the far left post that was knocked home by Le-Shaun Young for his first goal of the season.

Jake Wright made three saves en route to the shutout for Franklin Pierce, while Penmen keeper Dom DiMaggio (Rome, N.Y.) recorded one stop.  Southern New Hampshire generated a 12-11 shot advantage on the evening, while the Ravens had all three corner kicks on the night.

Southern New Hampshire returns home Wednesday night when it hosts Stonehill College in a 7:00 pm Northeast-10 contest at Larkin Field.
