Box Score MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University volleyball team's three-game win streak was snapped Tuesday evening by a score of 3-0 to Stonehill College in Northeast-10 play. The Penmen are now 8-6 overall, and 3-1 in the league, while Stonehill improves to 11-5 and 4-1 in conference play.
Game scores were 25-15, 25-18, and 25-21.
Emma Houlihan (Shoreham, N.Y.) led the Penmen offensively with nine kills, and also totaled a block on the defensive end. Nina McGouldrick (Richardson, Texas) totaled seven kills including 11 digs, while Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.), and Ashlee Daoust (Brookline, N.H.) added 15 and 14 digs, respectively. Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) dished out a game-best 27 assists and contributed seven digs.
The Penmen return to action Saturday, October 19 when they travel to Merrimack College for a 1:00 p.m. conference match.
