MANCHESTER, N.H. – Visiting Bentley University recorded a 3-1 Northeast-10 women's volleyball victory over Southern New Hampshire University Tuesday night at the SNHU Fieldhouse. The Falcons upped their record to 10-7 and 5-2 in the NE-10, while the Penmen are now 11-7 and 3-3 in the league.
The set scores were 25-27, 25-23, 25-9 and 25-21.
Bentley was led by Tatiana Froehlich's 14 kills, while Savannah Dominguez finished with nine kills and seven blocks. Lauren Colasanti racked up 26 digs, while Alex Tator handed out 39 assists.
Megan Salamun (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) paced SNHU with nine kills apiece, while Kathleen Schurman (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) added eight kills and 12 digs. Kendra Mikuta (Orland Park, Ill.) tallied 15 digs, while Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) notched 43 assists.
Southern New Hampshire is back in action Friday afternoon when it travels to Southern Connecticut State University for a 3:00 match.
