EASTON, Mass. – Host Stonehill College registered a 3-1 Northeast-10 women's volleyball victory over Southern New Hampshire University Tuesday night at Merkert Gymnasium.  The win, the fourth straight for the Skyhawks, ups their record to 11-3 and 4-0 in the NE-10, while the Penmen saw a six-game win streak snapped and are now 10-5 and 2-1 in the league.

The set scores were 26-24, 25-23, 24-26, 25-17.

Stonehill was led by a match-high 22 kills by Delia Phillips to go along with 15 digs, while Meaghan Lee added 10 kills.  Emily Iverson handed out 52 assists and contributed eight digs.

Emma Houlihan (Wading River, N.Y.) had 12 kills on .474 hitting to lead Southern New Hampshire, while also recording a pair of blocks.  Nina McGouldrick (Richardson, Texas) tallied 10 kills and 10 digs, while Kathleen Schurman (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) each added eight kills.  Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.) notched 22 digs, while Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) finished with 39 assists and 13 digs.

Southern New Hampshire returns home for the first time in nearly a month on Tuesday, October 7, when it hosts Franklin Pierce University in a 7:00 Northeast-10 Conference contest.
