Senior Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.) became the second player in Southern New Hampshire University volleyball history to eclipse 1,500 career digs on Friday, but Le Moyne College earned a 3-0 victory over the Penmen at the SNHU Fieldhouse.

Higgins entered Friday's contest just six digs shy of the milestone and she turned in her second consecutive 19-dig performance in the setback. She now has 1,513 digs in her career, which is second in program history behind Colleen Eddy's ('07) total of 1,628.

In the first game, Southern New Hampshire found itself down 12-4 early before battling back to knot the score at 19-19. The Dolphins claimed two of the next three points before sophomore Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) continued the see-saw affair by registering her third kill of the frame to make it 21-all. Le Moyne closed out the first by earning four of the final five points, two of which coming on service aces, to take a 25-22 decision.

The second game was played in similar back-and-forth fashion as it featured five lead changes and 13 ties, the final of which coming on a Penmen point bring them even with the Dolphins at 15-15. After back-to-back points by the visitors, Coronis notched another kill to bring SNHU within one at 17-16. It would be the closest Southern New Hampshire would get, as Le Moyne picked up eight of the next 10 points to claim a 25-18 final.

Natalie Casson tallied four kills in the third while Danica Durdines chipped in with three kills and a pair of blocks to propel the Dolphins to a 25-22 win in the game, and a 3-0 victory in the match.

Coronis led the Penmen on attack with 11 kills and a .333 hitting-percentage, and sophomore Victoria Wehrmann (Dallas, Texas) added four kills, 10 digs and a pair of aces.

Casson turned in a match-high 10 kills and .357 hitting-percentage and Kendall Corcoran handed out 32 assists and dug out 10 balls to carry Le Moyne.

Notes:
 - Higgins has recorded double-digit digs in 17 of the Penmen's 20 matches this season and has at least 19 digs in nine contests.
 - Southern New Hampshire compiled a .037 hitting-percentage on Friday while Le Moyne hit .177 as a team.
 - The Dolphins held an 8-5 edge in service aces and a 14-12 advantage in blocks.
