Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) racked up 10 kills as the Southern New Hampshire women's volleyball team swept Philadelphia to open the Kutztown Invitational with its third straight victory.
Coronis hit .400 on the evening. Victoria Wehrmann (Richardson, Texas) finished with eight kills, while Carolyn Scacchi (Peabody, Mass.) added seven. Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) handed out 23 assists, while Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.) notched 13 digs defensively.
Chelsea Hughes led Philadelphia with 12 kills.
Notes:
- The Penmen hit .173 as a team.
- All four of SNHU's victories this season have come with 3-0 scores.
- Scacchi also finished with three blocks.
What's Next:
Southern New Hampshire is in action twice Saturday at the Kutztown Invitational, facing the host Bears at 9:30 am and the Bears of NYIT at 1:30.
