Sofiane Tergou (Bitche, France) converted a penalty kick midway through the first half was the game's only goal as third-ranked Southern New Hampshire bested Bentley 1-0 in men's soccer Wednesday night.

The Penmen were awarded a penalty kick at the 22:50 mark after Sebastian Stezewski (New Britain, Conn.) was fouled deep in the penalty area.  Tergou converted the penalty kick for his second goal of the season.

Nick Zucco (Ludlow, Mass.) was not forced to make a save en route to his third shutout of the season, while Falcon counterpart Jack Blatchford made one save.

Notes:
 - Southern New Hampshire outshot Bentley 9-4, with the hosts generating a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
 - Zucco has not allowed a goal in 270 minutes of action this season.
 - The Penmen have been awarded three penalty kicks in four games, and are 3-3 in converting their chances.
