The Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team fell 3-0 on the road to Franklin Pierce University in Northeast-10 action Tuesday night.
The Penmen were led by sophomore Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) who notched 14 kills and committed no errors on 24 attempts for a .583 hitting percentage. Holly Adams (Hopkinton, Mass.), while Victoria Wehrmann (Dallas, Texas) had six kills and 10 digs. Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) notched 28 assists and 16 digs, while Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.) recorded 24 digs.
Frankin Pierce was led by Katie Leidhold's 13 kills.
Notes:
- Franklin Pierce hit .295 at a team, while the Penmen hit .143.
- Coronis' .583 hitting percentage was a season high for the sophomore.
What's Next:
Southern New Hampshire hosts the first of three straight home games Thursday night when it welcomes Merrimack College for a 7:00 non-league contest. The game was originally scheduled for last Thursday, but was forced to be postponed due to a local power outage.
