The Southern New Hampshire women's volleyball team snapped a three-game slide with a 3-2 win over Stonehill Tuesday night.
Sophomore Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) led the Penmen with a season-high 20 kills on .545 hitting, while Victoria Wehrmann (Dallas, Texas) racked up 14 kills, matching her season high. Megan Salamun (Scottsdale, Ariz.) notched eight kills. Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) racked up 42 assists, while Holly Adams (Hopkinton, Mass.) led four players in double-digit digs with 14. Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.) recorded 13, while Kathleen Schurman (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and Cotton added 11 and 10, respectively.
Notes:
- Higgins moved into second place on SNHU's career digs list, as she now has 1,411 for her career.
- The Penmen hit .253 as a team, while the Skyhawks hit just .150.
- Coronis ranks second in the NE-10 on the season in hitting percentage at .334.
