Dominic Samuel (Toronto, Ontario) scored the game's lone goal as fourth-ranked Southern New Hampshire remained unbeaten in men's soccer with a 1-0 win over in-state rival Franklin Pierce Wednesday night.

Samuel's goal, his third of the season, came on a restart just past the game's 20-minute mark.  A long free kick from 25 yards out bounced around the penalty area before it was settled down by Jaytoe Teh (Springfield, Mass.).  The tapped a short pass over to Samuel on the left side, who fired it home from 10 yards.

Nick Zucco (Ludlow, Mass.) notched his fifth shutout of the season by making four saves, while Raven counterpart Jordan LeGuyader registered three saves.

Notes:
 - Southern New Hampshire outshot Franklin Pierce 14-6 for the game, but both teams attempted five shots over the final 45 minutes.  The hosts held a slight 7-6 edge in corner kicks.
 - Samuel, a defender, now has 15 goals for his career.
 - SNHU is unbeaten in 13 straight games dating back to last season.
 - The Penmen are one of five unbeaten, untied teams in Division II.

What's Next:

Southern New Hampshire hosts Le Moyne Saturday afternoon in a 1:00 contest at Larkin Field.  The Dolphins are the lone team to defeat the Penmen over their last 51 games, dealing SNHU a 1-0 double overtime setback on October 25 of last season.
