Carolyn Scacchi (Peabody, Mass.) totaled 10 kills as the Southern New Hampshire women's volleyball team swept Assumption in its home opener.

Scacchi, a sophomore, hit at a .500 clip.  Victoria Wehrmann (Richardson, Texas) finished with nine kills on .500 hitting, while Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) added eight kills to go along with four blocks.  Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) handed out 35 assists, while Holly Adams (Hopkinton, Mass.) led SNHU defensively with eight digs.

Notes:
 - The Penmen hit .360 at a team while limiting Assumption to .124 hitting.
 - Southern New Hampshire racked up 10 service aces, with Cotton recording three straight in the second set.
 - Julia Goyette led Assumption with seven kills. 

What's Next:

Southern New Hampshire is back in action Wednesday night when it travels to Saint Anselm College for a 7:00 non-conference match that will serve as the kickoff to the 2015-16 Queen City Cup.
